Alfa Romeo driver Jimmy Vernon is looking forward to round three of the TCR Australia Series at The Bend Motorsport Park in South Australia this weekend.

Vernon has competed at the venue prior in GT3 Cup Challenge and believes results are just around the corner for him and the GRM Giulietta.

“The long straights will suit our car very well and I can’t wait” stated Vernon.

“The opening two rounds have shown potential and I want to turn that into podiums” he also went on to say.

Tickets are on sale now, with single day passes $20, and two-day passes just $30.

The Bend has confirmed that the entire venue will be open to the public, including grand stands and pit access. They will also be offering their popular ‘Park and View’ option, allowing spectators the chance to watch trackside from the comfort of their own vehicles.

Track action kicks off on Friday, with two practice sessions for the Carsales TCR Australia Series. Saturday will see qualifying and race one, with races two and three on Sunday.
If you can’t make the event, SBS will broadcast each race live, free and in HD, while the live stream will also be available on both days via the TCR Australia website.
